Craftivity is a craft lounge

Based in Gurgaon (India), we have been educating people about various handmade craftworks, techniques and materials through regular workshops since 2011.

Sospeso trasparente, Decoupage, Sugar Wires, Wine bottle Upcycle Craft, Coffee painting are some of the technique's, we embrace and upskill through our wide experience across geographies (India and international). we create learning a nice experience. We conduct both one-to-one and group workshops for all the above handicrafts techniques.

Papercut

Papercutting is the art of cutting paper designs. This craft certainly needs a lot of patience, but the end result can look absolutely phenomenal. Our papercuts come beautifully displayed on a sturdy mounted frame which are ready to be hung.

Workshops

We conduct regular workshops in Gurgaon for Sospeso Trasparente and Decoupage techniques. Decoupage is an ancient art of decorating with paper in combination with special paint effects and so on. Sospeso Trasparente is a volume decoupage decorative technique created and patented by Italian decorator Monica Allegro. This technique allows you to make volume decorative elements using specially developed materials and tools.

Decoupage

Session 1: Working on a Wooden base

You will learn the basics of decoupage on a wooden surface. At the class we will be performing the technique on any wooden surface like tissue box or tray or coasters which you will take home.

Duration: 2 hours

Session 2: Working on Glass base

We will perform the technique on our first non porous surface - glass base. At the class we will be doing decoupage technique on glass jar or plate which you will take home.

Duration: 2 hours

Session 3: Working on ceramic/porcelain base and candles

We will understand how to work with candles in decoupage technique. We will also do the ceramic surface in the same class.

Sospeso Trasparente

Session 1: Working with Napkins - Matte effect

Explore the basics of working with napkins in sospeso trasparente technique. You'll learn to cut and shape elements and create a composition. At the class we will make a frame which you will take home.

Duration: 2 hours

Session 2: Working with Decoupage paper - Porcelain effect

Explore the basics of working with thick decoupage paper in sospeso trasparente technique . You'll learn more advanced procedures to cut and shape elements and creation of more sophisticated composition. At the class we will make a necklace or decorate the plate which you will take home.

Duration: 2 hours

Session 3: Working with Printed film - Glass effect

You will learn to work with printed films in sospeso trasparente technique yo imitate the glass effect. At the class we will make a glass vase which you will take home.

Duration: 2 hours

Session 4: Working with Fabric

Learn the basics of working with fabrics in sospeso trasparente technique. At the class we will make a beautiful accessory like brooch or hair pin which you will take home.
